Sarah and Ryan’s Maternity Photos

Sarah and Ryan are at month 7 of their pregnancy journey and wanted to document this time in their life. We met at Mount Falcon, in Indian Hills for their Colorado maternity photos in mid-January to capture these moments of love. Winter is one of my absolute favorite seasons to document a love story, the sky is always clear, the weather crisp, the trees coated in ice, and if we are lucky a little snow.

This will be Sarah and Ryans first baby and they along with their dog Pepper, could not be more excited. We aimed to get these photos done prior to her baby shower so Sarah could share the memories with her friends and family. I am so excited to continue documenting their journey through their babies first year.

The Details

As a photographer, I’m always excited to see a couples personality shine through in their photos, and here are some helpful tips I recommend to everyone doing announcement or maternity photos. Always schedule a full hour so you have time for an outfit change, bring two different types of outfits to show off your belly! Bring props – a onesie, a stuffy, ultrasounds, a hat, little skis etc. these will make your Colorado maternity photos unique.
