Day 1: Alpine Lakes, Waterfalls, and Hot Springs

5:00 AM – Wake-Up in Your Cozy Cabin Rental
Rise with mountain views and a cup of coffee on your deck while you get ready with the love of your life and perhaps a couple of your favorite people.

6:00 AM – Hike Blue Lakes Trail Tackle the 8.6 mi Lower, Middle & Upper Blue Lakes loop (2,506 ft gain) for emerald-blue water reflections and alpine meadows. This is my absolute favorite Colorado hike and you would be hard press to find a more beautiful setting in Colorado. 
Along the way, take moments to pause at each lake and various viewpoints, to exchange intimate vows. Find a secluded spot for trail bagels, fruit, and of course a summit beer. 
1:00 PM – Cascade Falls Picnic Get a little misty & refuel with a packed lunch beside the 270-ft Cascade Falls waterfall. 
2:00 PM – Box Cañon Falls & Nature Center Looking for more adventure?Explore Box Canon, a really unique spot and often a bit quieter than some of the other locations in Ouray. 
6:30 PM – San Juan Skyway Sunset DriveHop in a topless Jeep for a quick loop on the Million Dollar Highway or Owl Creek Pass—catch fiery sunset views over the San Juans. Visit Ouray Colorado, for more information! .
7:30 PM – Dinner & Craft BrewsHit the town for an intimate dinner for 2 or perhaps have a chef come to your house rental and make a stellar dinner for you, your spouse and perhaps a couple family members! 
Want to include family and friends: Another option would be to have your friends and family meet up with you and enjoy craft beers and casual food out on the town to celebrate your marriage! 

Day 2: Canyon Trails & Starry Nights

9:00 AM – Lazy Morning in Your Mountain Home
Sleep in, lounge in your PJs, and enjoy pancakes, cinnamon buns, and coffee together. As your photographer, I can come in to help capture the authentic moments of your weekend. 
Want to include friends and family: Meet up with them after breakfast to join you for the rest of your day! 
10:30 AM – Ouray Perimeter Trail AdventureSet out on the 5.6 mi Perimeter Trail loop—4 waterfalls, six bridges, and hidden geological wonders like the “Troll” and “Rocktopus” Learn more at  ouraytrails.org.
1:30 PM – Off-Road to Yankee Boy BasinLoad up for an ATV or Jeep tour into Yankee Boy Basin—wildflower-filled valleys, mining ruins, and Mount Sneffels views make for epic group shots!
4:00 PM – Riverside Picnic & PortraitsSet up a charcuterie spread at Fellin Park or back at your cabin rental for a little happy hour.
6:00 PM – Red Mountain Pass Golden HourDrive the Red Mountain Pass overlook for moody, rust-toned cliffs glowing in the evening light—another secret gem for your elopement story.
7:30 PM – Hot Tub Under the Stars
Return to your cabin for a final hot tub soak. Order take-out pizza, snuggle by the fire pit, and toast to two perfect days in Ouray.
