THE BRIEF | Winter Park Pass Elopement

A winter park elopement! I have been dreaming of doing an elopement shoot at a ski resort, and thanks to good friends – we were able to make that happen. Steph and Richie are IKON pass holders and spend their weekends shredding the mountains here in Colorado.

Imagine getting ready at your airbnb or hotel, cup or coffee (perhaps and Irish Coffee) in hand, listening to your favorite jams, and preparing for a day out on the mountain. With clothing options from a full suit and fun dress (with leggings of course) to fun snow suits – you can truly make this day however best suits you!

You can find a little nook in the trees or on the summit to share your vows, spend the morning carving up your favorite runs, maybe break for a little snack (ski charcuterie anyone), and end the day with an apres ski (perhaps meeting up with your friends and family).

What I can promise you is that an elopement at a ski resort is iconic. People will be whooping and hollering – cheering you on as you hit the slopes, your photos will be undeniably YOU, and you’ll get to spend the day doing what you love with your best friend by your side. What to Know About a Ski Winter Park Elopement.

Winter Park has fun runs & rad vibes. They truly have options for everyone, from awesome trees, to mellow groomers. You can have a cook out in the Mary Jane parking lot then hit the slopes – there is even a parking lot you can park your camper van overnight if you’re looking for an authentic Winter PArk elopement!

The town is a little smaller and with its proximity to Denver and being on the IKON pass it can draw large crowds.

INCREDIBLE! Casey is extremely talented. She had many ideas prepared to give us more than just standard portraits. We ended up doing a morning photoshoot at Mt. Falcon and then she came into the city to shoot our microwedding ceremony at Cheesman Park Pavilion. She was so attentive to our needs and they came out beautifully!
